Marion Inez Blackwell Williamson

On Thursday, October 15, 2020 God called into eternal rest a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, aunt, sister-in-law and friend, Marion Inez Blackwell Williamson.

She was the daughter of the late Lawrence Blackwell and Ethel Badgett Blackwell born on October 12, 1929 in Caswell County, North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Williamson, Sr., five siblings, Mary Lily Blackwell, Dora Ann Lawson, Ethel Simpson, Lawrence Earl Blackwell and Thomas Blackwell.

She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, John L. Williamson, Jr. (Viola) of Eden, North Carolina; two daughters, Marva W. Michael (James) of Bowie, Maryland, Shelia W. Richmond (Ray) of Milton, North Carolina; one step-son, Francis Williamson of Danville, Virginia; two grandsons, Cedric Williamson (Carrie) and Desmond Micheal (Jehari); five granddaughters, Danielle Micheal, Nikita R. Adams (Reginald), Natia R. Petree (Teddy), Candice and Denise Hairston; nine great grandchildren, four sisters-in-law; many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services was Tuesday, October 20, 2020, 12:00 O’clock at New Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church Parking Lot.

Interment followed in the New Ephesus Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
