Earl Clifford McLaughlin, affectionately known as “Lil bit” to family and close friends, was the son of the late Thomas Earl and Zelda Elaine Mc Laughlin born July, 6, 1972, in Burlington NC.
He graduated from Bartlett Yancey High School in 1990, a year later he would meet and eventually marry his soulmate Tonya Foust. They would become inseparable.
Earl attended Alamance Community College, studying business and finance. For the last 13 years Earl worked at Unify Textile Company in Reidsville, as a Lab tech.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife: Tony Foust McLaughlin of the home; his beloved children: Ebony Foust (Desmond Jackson) of Huntsville, Alabama and Damion McLaughlin (Lexis May) of Charlotte, NC; brothers: Thomas Simpson ( Yolanda) of Yanceyville ad Troy McLaughlin (Crystal) of Greensboro, NC; nieces who was like a daughters: Kenya Riley (Jevon) of Mebane and Krishna Foust; aunts: Mozelle Brown of Reidsville, Gayle Graves (Mark) of Warner-Robbins, GA, Regina Gladden of Maryland, Virginia McLaughlin of Washington D.C., and Christine Alestock of Maryland, one uncle: Roy Mayo Graves (Beatrice) of Reidsville, step daughter: Tomekia Goodloe and five step grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
