On Friday, September 18, 2020, The Caswell County Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of two individuals who had sustained gunshot wounds and were involved in a vehicle crash in the Burlington Township. The two perpetrators fled the scene before the deputies arrival.
The investigation conducted by the Caswell County Sheriff’s Office led to the charging of two suspects; Forrest Emery Graves Jr., a 20 year old Yanceyville Township resident and Joseph Eli Armijo, a 20 year old Burlington Township resident, with the commission of the following FELONY OFFENSES; (2) counts of ATTEMPTED FIRST DEGREE MURDER, (2) counts of ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON INTENT TO KILL INFLICTING SERI-OUS INJURY, (1) count of DISCHARGE WEAPON INTO AN OCCUPIED DWELLING, and (1) count of DISCHARGE A WEAPON INTO OCCUPIED VEHICLE CAUSING SERIOUS BODILY INJURY.
