Local man Randy Alley died Friday night around 10:50 p.m. when he lost control of his 1988 Honda motorcycle coming through the Yanceyville Town Square area.
Alley was ejected from the motorcycle outside of the CoSquare building with the bike crashing through the front of the lobby.
Sgt. Ben Fleetwood of the North Carolina Highway Patrol says Alley was driving at a high rate of speed and it is unknown at this time if alcohol was involved. Alley was not wearing a helmet.
Sgt. Fleetwood says, “I advise everyone to follow the speed limit and wear protective equipment. Try to avoid aggressive driving.”
According to his obituary on the Wrenn-Yeatts Funeral Home website, he was a resident of Pelham and born in Chapel Hill on November 17, 1997, a son to Dawn Barker Pittman. Alley had lived most of his life in Caswell County and worked in Tree Care as well as other handy man jobs. He was of the Baptist Faith.
Alley is survived by his wife, Destiny Rose Alley of the residence; five children, Macie Alley, Alexx Alley, Kehlani Alley, Cash Alley, and Myylez Alley; three-stepchildren, Preston Porterfield, Maverick Spence, and Zac Spence; seven brothers, Gary Alley, Felix Alley, Steven Alley, Ryan Cardell, Tyler Sharp, Ronnie Sharp, Donald Sharp and one sister, Destany Sharp.
Funeral Services for Alley will be on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 from the Graveside by the Reverend Rusty Oliver at 2:00 p.m. in the Lebanon Christian Church Cemetery, 455 Cunningham Road, Semora, NC 27343.
