It’s that time of year again. Christmas is coming fast! As always, there are children who will not receive gifts on Christmas morning unless their parents receive some assistance. Thanks to a grant from The Womack Foundation in Danville and private donations, the Caswell Parish will continue its long tradition of helping to provide that support.

The Parish will begin accepting applications for Christmas Cheer assistance on Monday, October 10. Parents needing such help should call the Parish at 336-694-6428. Children ages 1-12 traditionally receive two toys or games and two articles of clothing. Older siblings in the home, ages 13-14, may be eligible for an article of clothing.

The Department of Social Services is no longer able to take applications countywide. Therefore, any church, civic organization, or business who wishes to contribute financial support to the project or to provide gifts for children through an Angel Tree or some other program is asked to contact the Parish by the end of October in order to obtain information as to how they can help.
