The softball Bucs played just one game last week, and it was an 11-1 romping over the Graham Red Devils on Thursday.

The Bucs will travel over to Reidsville this Thursday and can clinch a second straight conference crown with a victory over the Rams, who they already beat this season, 12-5, on March 26.

Two underclassmen once again shared the pitching duties for the Bucs, as freshman Lizzie Proctor and sophomore Rylie Webster combined to allow three hits across 6 innings of work. Webster and Grace Watlington rapped doubles for the Bucs, while freshman Faith Upchurch collected three hits on the night. Sophomore Hailey Rimmer scored two runs.

Over the past two seasons, the Bucs are now 24-0 in conference play, and seek to stretch that out even further as they prepare for the stretch run and then the state playoffs.
