“What are some easy ways to stay healthy during COVID-19?”

“It will be extra important to get a flu vaccine this season, especially for folks with other medical conditions. Everyone between the ages of 6 months and older should be vaccinated. There is strong evidence that those who do get the flu vaccine have better health outcomes and reduces the risk of being hospitalized or admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU). Getting a flu vaccine has been proven to reduce the spread of the virus and decrease the burden on the healthcare system. Plan to get your vaccine early in September or October to have strong protection for the whole flu season!”

“Stay connected with loved ones by telephone or outdoor meetings where there’s lower transmission risk. Take time every day to write down three things you’re grateful for or that went well that day. Wash hands and wear face masks!”
