Congratulations to all District Winners and all of the Caswell County school nominees.  Having been selected as Principal of the Year, Teacher of the Year, Classified Employee of the Year, and Beginning Teacher of the Year is an honor that many employees can only dream of.  Being nominated and selected as the district winner validates your hard work, the sacrifices that you make, and for going above and beyond your regular duties for the school, district, and community.  

This year’s winners were recently announced at the school board meeting.

Franchecsa Gantt, Principal of N. L. Dillard Middle School, was named 2020-2021 Caswell County Schools Principal of the Year. Mrs. Gantt will move forward to compete at the Regional Level. 

Anna Butts, Kindergarten Teacher at North Elementary School, was named 2020-2021 Caswell County Schools Teacher of the Year. Ms. Butts will move forward to compete at the Regional Level. 

Todd Christensen, 9-12 Social Studies Teacher at Bartlett Yancey Senior High School, was named 2020-2021 Caswell County Schools Beginning Teacher of the Year.  Mr. Christensen will move forward to compete for the second annual NCCAT Beginning Teacher of the Year Award.

Genieve Jones,,K-2 Teacher Assistant at South Elementary School, was named 2020-2021 Caswell County Schools Classified Employee of the Year.

Beginning Teacher of the Year:  Kenneth Malloy (NLDMS), Taylor Vernon (North ES), Laura Salcedo (Oakwood ES), Leslie Blackwood (South ES), and Julie Parker (Stoney Creek ES)
