The purpose of this message is to inform you of actions we are taking in the school district to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
Last week, our teachers were provided professional development on teaching virtually, which will begin next week to students who have access to technology. Our teachers have the option to work from a remote location to distance themselves while continuing with instruction. We will continue to provide paper packets to students without internet access. If you have not received a packet, please contact your child’s school.
To reduce the spread of the coronavirus, beginning this week, staff who are currently working in a school location will have the option to work remotely, depending upon their job function. Beginning March 27th, Caswell County Schools will close on Fridays. On Monday through Thursday, we will limit visitors to our schools and central office and ask that you contact the school or central office between the hours of 9:00am – 1:00pm to set up an appointment. This schedule will begin on Wednesday, March 25th.
Our feeding program will continue to operate Monday through Friday at the twelve sites throughout Caswell County. Today, our dedicated staff delivered 999 breakfast meals and 999 lunch meals.
Our school spring break for students and staff will continue as scheduled in the school calendar. Those dates are April 10th through April 17th.
If you have questions or need additional information, please contact your child’s school or the central office. This information is also posted on the district website. As always, safety is our priority as we continue to provide learning opportunities to the students of Caswell County Schools.
